Kendrick E. Major
Kendrick E. Major is the Owner/Director and Founder of EverRise Recovery Services, LLC. After 30+ years in the industry, working as a mental health counselor, licensed addiction specialist, and licensed clinical social worker, I have had the privilege of walking alongside some of the most vulnerable members of our community—those facing the challenges of mental health and substance use. While counseling and therapy have always been at the heart of my work, I have long envisioned creating an even greater impact in people’s lives.
Over 18 years ago, what began as a hobby—investing in real estate by purchasing abandoned homes, renovating, and restoring them—grew into a true passion. For years, I reflected on how to bring together my professional calling of helping others with my passion for real estate.
Today, I am proud to share that this vision has come full circle. I am stepping forward in faith to turn this long-held dream into reality by developing a Sober Living Program.
In Loving Memory
The vision behind EverRise Recovery Services was born from countless late-night
conversations, planning sessions, and shared dreams between our founder and his
dear friend, mentor, and fraternity brother, Kennye A. Johnson.
Together, they imagined a safe, structured, and recovery-centered home for individuals in the Indianapolis-Metro area — a place where hope could be rebuilt and lives restored.
Though Kennye is no longer with us, his compassion, leadership, and unwavering belief in second chances continue to guide our mission.
